DESCRIPTION:RECEPTION DATE\nSeptember 5th from 7pm-10pm\nLocation\nSmokestack 62 E 7th St\, Dubuque\, IA 52001\nArtist Call Details\nParticipation Deadline: August 10th 2025\n\n(last date to get your card number in August 10th\, no submission of artwork required)  \nThe premise of this show is that artists are given a random playing card from a deck\, and they interpret and create a 11″ x 14″ piece inspired by that card.  \nEach artist is assigned a playing card at random. There are 54 cards in the mix\, including 52 standard playing cards and 2 jokers. The card they are are assigned is for them to interpret however they see fit. \nJoin us September 5th from 7pm-10pm at Smokestack for a First Friday Art Reception featuring a notorious Dubuque group show started years back by local artist Jon Little.
