Come join us for a night of inspiring activism and engagement! The night will feature a viewing of the Emmy award-winning documentary, “The Janes,” an art exhibition, and a panel discussion with various government leaders, activists, and an artist.
This event, led by college student Annika Pinchuk, focuses on the stories and experiences of women, artists, and activists advocating for women’s rights, and their efforts, views and self-expression through community, activism, and art.
The program will include a showing of the documentary “The Janes,” followed by a panel discussion with an original member of “The Janes”, as well as talks from leaders of various organizations. Additionally, the Dubuque Area Arts Collective will host an art exhibition featuring the artwork of Jennifer Gauerke, whose work focuses on the female experience in modern American culture.
