Join us at the Smokestack on Monday, July 14 at 6pm for a grant writing workshop for individual artists and find out how you can fund your big ideas! Angela Ventris, Community Grant Writer at the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, will share her passion for grant writing and getting money!

*Craft a compelling project narrative as colorful as you are

*Answer those “weird” grant questions
*Consider the good and bad of using AI in grant writing
*What to expect when you’re expecting (grant funds) -or how to spend the money correctly
Additional guest speakers will also share their expertise and experience:
Grant writer Paula Neuhaus will provide insight into budget building and portfolio development
Local artists E.E. Kono and Tamsie Ringler will share their experience writing and receiving individual artist grants.
