In honor of Black History Month, Art For Us and the Dubuque Area Arts Collective are thrilled to extend a special invitation to you for the “Black As You Are” Art Exhibit. This exhibition pays tribute to local and regional black artists and allies, as they share their inspirations, perspectives and narratives through the power of art.
Spoken Word Showcase: 8:30pm -9:30pm
In Collaboration with Dubuque Heritage Works & The City Of Dubuque “Our Ancestors’ Wildest Dreams” project will be a captivating addition to the Black As You Are exhibit, enhancing the overall experience for our audience that will intertwine spoken word performances with visual arts, showcasing the deep connections between oral traditions and visual narratives within the Black community.
