Artist Statement
My artistic vision is to explore and express my purest form of self. Utilizing abstract expressionism, I evoke emotions through color, texture, and form, making an effort to let go and open myself to true feeling. As someone who was born into a body that does not match my gender, I missed out on many aspects of childhood I longed for, and because of this many of my works possess a childlike quality. My art is how I explore these emotions, reconciling childhood through the lens of adulthood.
